Improve your performance in shod running using Vibram Fivefingers as a tool to strength foot and technique. In this case we suggest to wear them in your daily life as much as possible and in specific training exercises.

Always listen to your body and adapt the transition to your specific case;
Work hard on your technique with drills, strength, core stability, rhythm and elasticity
Run on hard surfaces and not on grass at the beginning;
Start by entering Fivefingers at the end of light training with shod shoes and increase distance by 10% weekly;
For at least the first month, run only on the flat and not uphill;
Increase transition times and decrease intensity if your BMI is above 25.
